Key 1: Clarity
Clarity means the quality of being clear. Brian Tracy wants people to have a clear mind and think of what they want to do in life. He wants people to have their goals prepared and be specific in them too. Brian believes not having a clear set of goal will not work in your favor. He believes it will lead you to a unsuccessful life of working for others who had clarity. A example of clear goals would be wanting to become a doctor. Knowing the requirements to become a doctor and knowing each step you will do to become a doctor.
Key 2: Competence
When you are working on your homework or a school assignment you need to always complete it and not leave any park undone. When you want to be successful you need to complete everything and not leave things incomplete. Successful people do not turn in ideas or projects that are not done. Turning work that is incomplete is unprofessional and will not make you a successful or responsible person. An example of this can be when you are applying for a job. If you have a resume that is incomplete then you very unlikely to get that job because incompleteness shows that you are not responsible and unreliable. To be a person who can use competence in a perfect manner you have to develop other skills that will assist you in being a competent.
Key 3: Concentration
One important way to make sure that you can be the best you and a way to personal power. you should always stay focus and stay on track. When you are taking a test you don't pass by getting off track, you have to stay focus and finish your current goal to complete you future goals/ your main goals in life. A real situation you might find yourself one day can be when you are being interviewed for a job. You can't get distracted because you will ruin the chances of you getting that position. Concentration also plays a key role when you are playing a skilled game such as chest or checkers. You have to keep track and stay concentrated to prevent the opponent from beating you due to you not paying attention to a move that was played. Concentration is one of the most important rules to be successful.
Key 4: Common Sense
- Train your mind
- think things through
- listen to your intuition
- learn from setbacks
Key 5: Creativity
"Except the fact that every human being is a genius. The hallmark of creativity is asking questions. The people who are most creative ask the most questions."
When you are a creative person you get more ideas then others and that is a good thing because inventions are just ideas thought up by creative people before they are invented. One example in which creativity is needed is in certain games and as well in school. I remember that in certain assignments you get points for creativity and if there's no creativity then you will lose points. Creativity will help you reach your best personal power because creativity is a great way to get problems solved because you can think outside the box and you don't limit yourself.
Key 6: Consideration
"The quality of your relationships with other people will determine your success in life."
"Develop the people skills you need to become a better communicator. Take courses in listening, speaking, etc."
"If you were to learn one new word a day, within 5 years, you’ll be the best educated person in history."
When I say consideration I mean that you have to consider everything that could happen due to a choice you make. Also, this key which is consideration can be used when you have to think about others before you choose to make an action. By think about others, I mean that you have to think abut how they would feel or think when something is said or done. It is great to be considerate because you should want everyone to like you because when people like you, they can put in a work for you. When I say, put in a word for you, I mean that they can back you up when you are in a bad position. An example of this can be when you are blamed or falsely accused of a crime you didn't commit. If a person such as a principle or teacher like you, they could help you and back you up because they know that you are a great person. Being considerate will get you for in life and help you be more well liked by others.

Key 7: Consistency
"Dependable, steady predictable work is always superior to fast spurts of work."
Be consistent in your relationships, your family, friends, your boss, your work. Be the person that people can depend upon. That if you say you’ll do something you do it.."
Key 8: Commitment
"No success is possible without commitment. The ability to commit yourself whole heartily is the basis of achieving all success."
"Become totally absorbed in your work. Be totally committed."
When you want to be the best version of yourself, you have to be committed. To be committed means to no give up and stay true to yourself. When you are committed you are saying that you are going to do something and you stay true to your words. A great example of this is when you are getting married. When you get married it means that you are committed to only being with the partner you married an you have to stay loyal to your choice. But usually, people who get married aren't really prepared and that's why lots of people get divorced. Another example of being committed is when you get yourself a gym membership. Most people only go for a week or two when they buy a membership but, you should be committed to going to the gym since you bought a long-term membership. School can also be a commitment. A commitment can also be seen as a promise you make to yourself or to others.
Key 9: Courage
"The fear of failure is the single greatest reason for failure in life."
To have courage means to stand up for what's right. To have courage means to be brave and take action in your life. It means to not let opportunities just go way, you have to take every shot you got to be successful. An example of this can be, going into an interview for a job that you really want. If you did not have courage, you would probably not be brave enough to go in and give it all you got. You could be a bit nervous and not do as well as you hoped for and not get the job. When you are courage you don't let fear get in your way of doing what you want exactly how you want it. Another example of this can be when you are presenting your IDP in school. If you are not courageous then you might be a bit nervous which can effect your performance hence, you get get deducted points off your final grade for the presentation. Another example of being courageous can be in
Key 10: Confidence
"You only get confidence by doing things over and over again ."
When you have confidence you are not afraid to over come your fear and challenges. When you are confident you have courage to do whatever you feel like setting your mind to. Everyone has a certain amount of confidence, but those who a great deal of confidence are those who are successful in life because they don't let anything get in their way.
